Computer Stand Brackets Cool Idea by 3D Printer and CNC Laser Cutting Machine

Are you tired of using books and stacks of paper to prop up the screens on your desk? Well, here's a cool idea for you! Today, we are going to show you how to create a stylish and functional desk organizer using some basic materials and a bit of creativity.

Materials You'll Need:

A piece of 16mm wood (something sturdy that won't warp under weight)

Access to a 3D printer, such as a 3D Printer for sale at AM.CO.ZA

CO2 Laser Cutting Machine (or any tool that can cut straight lines)

Step-by-Step Guide:

Prepare Your 3D Printer:

This project involves printing brackets to support your screens. Even if your 3D printer is typically used for 3D letter channelling, it can handle this task as the brackets aren't too thick.

Set your 3D printer to start printing the brackets. This will give you time to work on the wood cutting while the brackets are being printed.

Cutting the Wood:

While the brackets are printing, you can begin cutting the wood. I recommend using a CO2 laser cutting machine for precise straight lines, especially if your woodworking skills are a bit shy.

The length of the wood can be whatever you desire, but the width inside your bracket should be 1mm less than the bracket's width for a snug fit.

Assembly and Painting:

Once the wood is cut to the desired size and the brackets are printed, it's time to assemble. Fit the wood snugly into the brackets.

Now, you can choose to spray paint your bracket and wood. Select any colour you like – green, blue, clear, pink, or any other colour that fits your style. Alternatively, you can leave it in the original colour of the material.

Final Touches:

Allow the paint to dry completely. Once dry, your desk organizer is ready to use.

Benefits:

Maximized Desk Space: By elevating your screens, you gain extra space underneath to store pens, calculators, punches, notes, or any other desk essentials.

Improved Screen Height: Elevating your screens to eye level can reduce strain on your neck and improve your posture.

There you go, guys! The project is now complete. As you can see, it works perfectly. The screens are at a nice height, you don’t lose any desk space, and you have extra storage underneath. I hope you enjoyed this cool idea and we'll catch you in the next one!
