Fiber Laser Engraving Large Object Test on Ladder and Why Need to Brand All Company Assets
In today's tech-savvy world, where creativity knows no bounds, we often find ourselves exploring unconventional ways to express our ideas. Today, we step away from the conventional to embark on a unique journey – directly engraving on equipment with a Fiber Laser Marking Machine, instead of engraving onto a plaque. Rather than simply admiring the tools at our offices, we'll be putting them to the test by using a direct engraving technique. Join us as we venture into uncharted territory and see if this artistic experiment yields impressive results!
Getting Started: To kick off this creative endeavour, we open LableMark and with the text tool located on the left-hand side panel, we add text. The text tool allows us to craft our message, and in this case, we'll go with something motivational – "Let's do this." We'll explore various fonts to find the perfect one to convey our message effectively.
Choosing Fonts and Design: With a plethora of fonts at our disposal, we opt for a stylish one – 'Keep Cal Med.' After selecting the font, we position the text at the centre of the screen, ensuring it catches the eye. The creative process is not just about engraving but also about personalizing our work and making it visually appealing.
Hatching Technique: To add depth and texture to our engraving, we decided to experiment with a unique hatching style – from right to left. This technique will give our engraving a distinct and eye-catching appearance. The choice of hatch style can be a subtle yet significant detail in the overall design.
Framing and Initialization: Before we proceed with the actual engraving, we need to frame our artwork to match the product's dimensions. Once the Fiber Laser Engraving Machine is powered up and initialized, we press F1 to frame our artwork, to frame the artwork. When we are ready to mark, we simply press F2.
Continuous Engraving: During the initial engraving attempt, it becomes apparent that a single pass is not deep or visible enough. To address this, we explore the continuous marking feature by selecting it on the bottom left-hand side of the screen. This allows us to engrave continuously until we achieve the desired depth and visibility.
Results: The final results are impressive, demonstrating that direct engraving onto household equipment with a Fiber Laser Marking Machine, particularly materials like steel or leather, is not only possible but can yield aesthetically pleasing outcomes. The experiment successfully showcases the versatility of this engraving technique for both artistic and practical purposes.
Conclusion: In this unique DIY adventure, we ventured beyond the traditional and directly engraved onto equipment, proving that creativity knows no bounds. The ability to personalise and enhance household items with unique engravings with a Fiber Laser Marking Machine opens up a world of possibilities. So, the next time you find yourself with a desire to leave a mark, consider direct equipment engraving – a blend of artistry and functionality.
