Full Cupboard Vinyl Wrapping with Large Format Printed Vinyl, Applied by Squeegee and Soapy Water

If your wardrobe doors need to be replaced, save yourself money by making use of adhesive vinyl instead of having them replaced. This vinyl can withstand a variety of environmental conditions. It is great for outdoor usage and has water and heat resistant properties.

It can be applied and removed with so much ease. It adds the perfect culmination to any room in the house. In this guide, we’ll show you how to personalize your adhesive vinyl using Advanced Machinery's FastCOLOUR large format printer and power you through the application process.

Step by Step guide on the application process:

1st Step

Print the design of your liking on the adhesive vinyl making use of the FastCOLOUR large format printer.

Detach the doors of the wardrobe and handles.

2nd Step

Wipe the surface of the doors in a thorough manner to remove any dirt or dust particles on the doors of the wardrobe. This will make certain that the vinyl adequately sticks to your surface.

3rd Step

Take measurements of the door and trim the vinyl to size allowing enough to wrap around the edges.

4th Step

Trim the vinyl with a pair of scissors or a vinyl cutter machine.

Peel away a tiny section of the backing paper from the vinyl, spray the soapy solution at the bottom of the vinyl and then stick it onto the wardrobe doors. Make use of AM’s squeegee to flatten and smoothen the vinyl and eliminate the air bubbles to make sure that it is even right across the doors.

Spray the soapy solution on top as well and then repeat wet application.

5th Step

Make use of a heating gun to dry out the vinyl as it sticks onto wardrobe doors.

6th Step

To ensure that the corners of each door are neat, cut diagonally into the corner with scissors. Fold one flap around the corner, then the other.

7th and last step

Hang or fix doors back into place, refasten the handles, take a step back and applaud for yourself for the handy work!
