AM.CO.ZA TruCUT Laser Cutting Software

The laser software that Advanced Machinery sells has the following features laser cutting, laser engraving, laser 3D engraving, laser perforating and laser plotting.

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting is an applied science that makes use of a laser to cut materials. Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser most commonly through optics. The laser optics and CNC (computer numerical control) are utilized to direct the material or the laser beam produced. The focused laser beam is directed at the material, which then either melts, burns, vaporizes away, or is blown away by a jet of gas leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish.

Laser Engraving

This method works swiftly, as the material is taken off with each pulse of the laser. The depth of the marks is managed by the number of times the laser beam is passing on the material.

Laser 3D Engraving

3D laser application is a high-end application in the laser engraving cutting marking industry.

It’s capable of doing laser engraving or laser marking on unbalanced surfaces and can laser engrave cut within round or irregular objects by 3D laser etching engraving machine.

How can we perform a 3D engraving with a laser machine?

To understand the 3D marking procedure, the first thing to know is that these machines have to incorporate an extra element in their system.

This is an internal lens that will permit us to play with different focal lengths automatically, upgrading production time by not having to take it manually. This lens moves to alternate the laser focus at different heights pre-programmed in the software, achieving a higher quality finish and accuracy. With 3D laser marking we can work on different types of surfaces, whether conical, flat or curved such as rings and charms for the jewellery sector, metal stamps or dies, marking of metal parts on multiple surfaces, etc.

These machines are especially fitting for marking unbending materials such as steel, iron, stainless steel, silver and gold, as well as plastic materials. Perhaps, at the time of programming the designs we will dedicate more time to take the different heights of marking, but it will always be less than it is needed to modify the focal distance in a manual way.

Laser Perforating

This process necessitates making a hole using CO2 laser.

Laser Plotting

Advanced Machinery’s vinyl cutting plotter is able to slash vinyl by holding a blade laser by holding a pen. Our TruCUT CO2 laser machine is capable of plotting on hard surfaces like chipboard by using a laser beam. Laser beams generating an extremely thin (0.3mm) line which is great for blueprint plotting. The laser plotting has also been called laser drawing, laser chalk line or laser charcoal lines.
