Advanced Machinery had an interview with Gerhard Potgieter from Greating Heilbron.
Gerhard Potgieter assembled a CO2 Laser Cutting and Engraving Machine from scratch with his son and bought most of the parts that he requires from Advanced Machinery.
What he did initially was put together an all-inclusive control board to operate and control the CO2 Laser cutting and engraving machine.
He then bought CO2 Laser Tubes and Lens from Advanced Machinery which he put in place in the laser machine.
An 80-Watt tube can cut Medium-Density Fibreboard that is 6mm thick with so much simplicity.
This machine requires software to work.
He then bought Advanced Machinery’s CO2 laser and engraving software.
This machine has a cutting bed to the length of 1200mm x 800mm.
Mr Potgieter then illustrates to us how used his personalized CO2 laser machine to cut and engrave Greating Heilbron’s logo.
